At Healing Period, we believe healing is a right, not a privilege.
Healing Period is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing the lifelong mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being of women through research-informed education, community programs, care navigation, and accessible support, with particular attention to women and communities historically underserved by traditional systems of care.
The nonprofit currently offers a limited number of sliding-scale and pro bono services based on availability, along with birth doula and perinatal support, herbal wellness education, community programs, wellness resources, and the Healing Period Journal.
Insurance-based, full fee, and contracted platform clinical care is provided separately through Healing Center Collective, PLLC. Clinical availability is based on professional licensure, authorization, service fit, and platform requirements in Arizona, Texas, Minnesota, and Florida.
Healing is not one-size-fits-all. Healing Period honors multiple pathways to wellness and meets each person with culturally responsive, trauma-informed support.
Therapy & Trauma Recovery: Counseling for women, BIPOC communities, trauma survivors, and people navigating major life transitions.
Clinical Supervision: Reflective, culturally responsive supervision for Arizona social workers developing sound judgment, ethical practice, and a sustainable professional identity.
Birth Doula & Perinatal Support: Emotional, physical, and informational support before, during, and after birth, with postpartum doula services planned for the future.
Herbal Wellness Education: Education about plant traditions and their thoughtful use in personal wellness practices. This complementary service does not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care.
Spiritual & Somatic Support: Grounding, breathwork, body awareness, and reflective practices that encourage connection among mind, body, and spirit.
Community Programs & Resources: Healing circles, educational workshops, support gatherings, and accessible tools, including the Healing Period Journal, that extend care beyond individual sessions.
At Healing Period, every contribution helps turn our mission into meaningful action for women and communities.
Donations may support women’s lifespan research and program evaluation; community education; outreach in metropolitan and rural communities; care and resource navigation; telehealth-access assistance; limited charitable and reduced-cost services; Healing Period Journal publications and tools; professional training; new-program development; and the operating resources needed to sustain this work.
Programs and subsidized services depend on available funding, eligibility, and organizational capacity. A donation does not purchase or guarantee a particular service.
Donations support the charitable work of Healing Period. Insurance-based, full-fee, and contracted-platform clinical services are provided separately through Healing Center Collective, PLLC.
Healing Period is more than an organization; it's a movement. Whether you give, volunteer, or spread the word, you help expand access to healing for women, BIPOC communities, and trauma survivors.
