Dear Visitor,

Welcome to Healing Period, a space rooted in truth, restoration, and the sacred pause we often deny ourselves.

This is more than a brand. It is a call inward—a reminder that healing is not linear, perfect, or always visible, but it is possible and it belongs to you.

I created Healing Period from my lived experiences as a mother, clinical social worker, spiritual seeker, and woman who knows what it means to carry pain in silence. Through trauma, spiritual awakening, and soul reclamation, I learned that healing is not only something we do. It is something we remember.

Healing Period carries that vision forward as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing the lifelong mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being of women. Through research-informed education, community programs, care navigation, and accessible support, we seek to serve women and communities historically underserved by traditional systems of care in both metropolitan and rural settings.

Our developing research agenda centers the lived experiences, strengths, healing practices, care barriers, and wellness needs of Black women across the lifespan. The long-term goal is to translate that knowledge into culturally responsive programs, professional training, community education, and improved models of care that may benefit women more broadly while honoring the communities from which the knowledge emerged.

The nonprofit currently offers a limited number of sliding-scale and pro bono services based on availability, alongside birth doula and perinatal support, herbal wellness education, community programs, and healing resources.

Insurance-based, full-fee, and contracted-platform clinical care is provided separately through Healing Center Collective, PLLC. Clinical availability is based on professional licensure, authorization, service fit, and platform requirements in Arizona, Texas, Minnesota, and Florida.

Whether you are moving through a difficult chapter, reconnecting with your intuition, developing as a clinician, preparing for birth, or simply learning to breathe again, you are welcome here.
