Healing Period

Healing Period is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to advancing the lifelong mental, emotional, physical, and social well being of women through research informed education, community programs, care navigation, and accessible support. A limited number of sliding scale and pro bono services are available directly through Healing Period based on capacity.

Our services and resources are designed to reduce barriers to care, strengthen individual and community well being, and support healing across generations in both metropolitan and rural communities.

Approach: Trauma-informed, culturally responsive, collaborative care tailored to each client’s needs, goals, and lived experience.

Who We Serve: Women, BIPOC communities, trauma survivors, and adults navigating stress, identity, relationships, grief, reproductive transitions, or major life changes.

What to Expect: A nonjudgmental space to understand patterns, strengthen coping skills, process experiences, and build resilience at a sustainable pace.

Availability: Healing Period offers a limited number of sliding-scale and pro bono therapy appointments based on availability. Insurance based and full fee therapy is provided separately through Healing Center Collective, PLLC and the platforms listed on the Current Client Portals page. Herbal Consultations

Herbal wellness education offers a gentle, culturally rooted way to explore plant traditions as part of a broader self-care practice.

What to Expect: Education about commonly used herbs, reflective conversation about your wellness goals, and practical ideas for incorporating herbs into personal rituals or daily routines.

Accessibility: Sliding scale or pro bono availability may be offered directly through Healing Period based on current capacity.

Important: Herbal wellness education is complementary and does not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care. Please consult a qualified healthcare professional about medications, pregnancy, health conditions, or possible interactions.
